   My wife and I eat kosher food exclusively, so our ability to travel outside areas where kosher food is readily available is limited by our ability to carry perishable kosher foods with us and store it safely. This limited us to the amount of food that would fit in a portable car cooler, using ice or frozen ice packs from home, and generally limited us to overnight stopovers and destinations where a refrigerator was available. But the recent addition of the dual voltage Euhomy car/home refrigerator-freezer has vastly expanded our travel horizons. It easily maintains a constant (within 5 degrees) temperature of our choosing running off the car battery, or in our hotel room running off a standard 110-volt wall outlet. It can safely store frozen foods at temperatures as low as -4 degrees Farenheit, and comes with a removable partition that divides it into a small refrigerated section alongside the larger freezer compartment.The sturdily built unit has two small folding carrying handles, as well as two wheels and a longer handle for rolling the unit instead of having to lift and carry it. At about 35 pounds empty, the 37 Quart size is light enough to be manageable by one strong person, and relatively easily by two people, even when loaded with food. It fits easily on the back seat of even a small car. The supplied 12/24-volt cable is long enough to easily reach the car-lighter power jack found in the front dashboard of most vehicles. The unit also comes with a relatively short, 3-prong 110/220-volt AC power adapter and cord.The unit’s functions are controlled by an electronic touch-sensitive display panel, with a current temperature readout for the internal compartment(s). An automatic child safety lock must be disabled before entering any commands. There isThe temperature can be varied in 1-degree increments. There is an adjustable setting to protect the car battery from its charge being depleted when the car motor is not running, and a convenience light inside the folding top lid.The brief instruction book is written in passable English with FAQ and troubleshooting sections in addition to describing all basic operations. Learning to use the touch screen controls efficiently does take some practice.On our first trip with the unit, we found it large enough to hold at least 3-days worth of food. When the compressor is running, our unit does make a slight rattling noise, but it was not loud enough to be noticeable when driving at highway speeds, nor did it disturb our sleep while running overnight on the floor of our hotel room.The unit has two power levels, 60 or 45 watts. At high power, it cooled the empty food compartment from room temperature to the set level in less than half an hour.While the ability to use the unit as a refrigerator and freezer simultaneously is convenient, in that configuration, the temperature control affects only the freezer compartment.In the refrigerator-only configuration, the unit is big enough to store up to a half-gallon milk bottle upright, but when the partition is in place, the fridge section can only store smaller diameter bottles upright, because most of the lower part of the compartment is taken up by the motor housing. In light of the space taken up by the motor, we were wise not to buy the 22-quart Euhomy unit that we had first considered, because it would not have had enough food storage capacity to meet our needs.

   We did alot of research before we purchased a cooler like this. This is the perfect size for us. The decider we found we didn’t need.. As a freezer it takes about three days to get to freezer temp. As my husband found out when camping on day two his beer was frozen because he set the cooker at 29 degrees. Hilarious to say the least. It’s very quiet. We traveled with it with out seats down in the cab of our truck. Very quiet. Perfect for travel. We love it and aren’t sure why we didn’t buy one sooner

   I’m thinking this must be a new model. The same manufacturer has another model with many great reviews. I installed this in my pop up tent trailer in place of the old micro absorption Rv refrigerator. Just rolls in and out with the wheels.Fits well. My solar system powers it. Worked perfectly on my last 4 day trip. I tow the trailer with my camper converted Yukon. It has a smaller bouge Rv unit that has been a great unit with over 2 years of use. Twice used that unit for over 3 months of constant use. Would highly recommend both units.

   Company reached out to me, gave me a 60 dollars refund i did not ask for, and promised they are looking into the issues I brought up. That impressed me. Given I do think this is otherwise a great product, (really love the wheels, which my Vevor does not have), I’m giving them another star. I can’t comfortably give 5 unless I knew they had designed a latch of some sort for the lid. I just really think that design needs to be improved in. Not the end of the world, plus i noticed they actually dropped the price on it by 60 bucks,lol the exact amount they so kindly unsolicited gave to me as a refund for my troubles. Lol Aside from the customer service reaching out which I was impressed with, I think the new lower price definitely ads additional reason I would buy it again, even with this lid I hope they redesign.Reference original review: I have a Vevor along side of this one that I purchased awhile back. The lid on that one is amazing. You can open from either side, as well as it click locks with a lever type handle on either side. The lid on this one feels EXTREMELY cheap. It’s literally a hollow peice of plastic. I beleive that is why there is always a level of condensation that there should not be, as well as it is not as efficient as the vevor model, which is even bigger. There really should be insulation in that lid, and there should be a latch or lock. It can very easily fly open in the right situation. It really is the only reason I cannot recommend the product. The lid really does play an important roll, and though I realize the Vevor model lid is amazing, and definitely would increase the cost of production of this cooler, the fix for this lid would not at all have to be that fancy, and/or costly. To not have a lid be insulated, or be able to secure a lid on a freezer, just seems a big deal, and rediculously should not have been a difficult corner for developer’s/designers to know NOT to cut! I’m just sayin’….
