I have been using this for years. Lasts about 2-1/2 years BUT you have to clean the surface. Start with Dawn dish washing liquid and rinse with lots of water. Next clean with lacquer thinner or alcohol.

I needed something to make my Kia Soul look a little more sporty. My car is grey. I brought the black door molding. It is easy to apply and, so far, is holding well. I’ve been through one automatic car wash. It could have been about 1 inch wider to be more noticeable. Perhaps, I should have purchased the red so the enhancement would be more visible. I may do that.

This product was not pricey, came quickly, and was easy to install. It looks great on my car, ( much better than chipped paint). It is also enough to do 4 doors. I can’t really speak to the durability, but I can’t wait to see how long it will last before I have to replace it.

These strips are really pliable and are not very rugged for a solid door guard. They only have adhesion on one side as compare to the center. They also don’t wrap around the door completely. They are a partial wrap at best.

Good product! Easy to usd, even easier when you heat it, if you need to place it on something that has a curve. 3m tape easy to take off and the glue is good too
