I have just installed these couple of days ago still early to decide if I like them but so far the light is much brighter much whiter than the incandescent 3047 bulb that was in the back up light of my 2011 GMC truck they were easy to replace and the price was very good

I ordered the yellow/amber colored LED light bulbs for a GMC Yukon (2000) since the aftermarket tail lights had red incandescent turn signal light bulbs (enclosure of the taillight was red, not the bulb itself). Since the red incandescent turn signal light bulbwasn’t visible in daylight (not as trivial as it sounds, you could barely see a tiny twinkling red glow of wire from a few feet away; almost crashed multiple times because of that problem), I thought of getting yellow LEDs to get a brighter orange (yellow+red=should be orange) color similar to the original taillights. However, I received white LEDs by mistake, but, when installed, the color of the signal came out perfectly orange, which was weird. Almost thought I’d be driving around with pink signal lights, so no hard feelings.Note: I only replaced the tail lights, as they are not always on, unlike the brake lights which are always idly and actively on. LEDs could overheat and fail if always lit, so I kept the brake lights incandescent.

Def. worth it. These, along with an electronic flasher, really made a huge difference in my old ’88 dakota(with ’96 drive trane/wiring harness)

These were installed in a 2007 Pontiac Solstice for reverse lights and they are a HUGE improvement over the stock incandescent bulbs.Now the bad news, there must be just enough current ‘leaking’ through that the bulbs have a noticeable glow at night even when they’re off.I ordered a set of resistors like the ones for turn signal LEDs which I’m sure will take care of the glow.

Wouldn’t work at 1st! had to BEND the small wires over edge 180° (!) see photo. . Many wouldn’t know to do this. Bright & cool to touch. ????

These bulbs worked fine in my wife’s 2014 Ford Focus, but I originally purchased them for the tail lights of my 2016 F-150. If you own a 2016 F-150 with the side blind spot detectors built into the tail lights you don’t need these. Those tail lights already have LED lights built in and the bulbs are not removeable. If your tail lights burn out in a 2016 F-150 with side radar blind spot detectors the entire light assembly will need replaced. And they are expensive.
