They do not lock very well but I added some tape around the bottom to keep the top in place. I have one on the patio & one on the boat, the others I shared with family

I like these but one of them has a hole in the bottom. So maybe don’t put a lit butt in it. I have black ones that have lasted way longer with no holes in the bottoms.

The ashtrays are nit made for People who smoke cigars. Burnt straight threw it and could have burned up my car of I dint come back outside

They were cheaply made, the lids didn’t fit right and the first cigarette I put in it burned a hole in the bottom of the ashtray, a fire hazard. I threw them all in the trash

I probably would not buy these again. The lids don’t stay on very well. The black ones that you buy at Walmart her of much higher quality, and just as economical.
