   I was originally going to use this for a air temperature for my motorcycle but then realized very quickly that it does not read the air temperature it only reads liquid temperature Plus the copper wire in it if it is in the air and there is wind it cools it down before it reaches the gauge so you have to have something around it that’s insulated from the sensor all the way to the gauge if you’re using an air sensor I recommend trying to use a oven temperature sensor then

   Straightforward install. Note the “cable” length is 48″ not 96. The documentation makes no mention of the adapter sizes or how to switch an adapter if necessary. 16mm tapered thread is a standard on older japanese engines that use this type of gauge, it would be helpful if this size were included.
