I love the look of the key. It’s heavy and sturdy. Heavier than a set of keys, but I don’t mind it. The reason for the four stars is that it’s too expensive and now the emergency key is trapped inside with no access. I drive a convertible, so I need that key to lock valuables in glove compartment. Will have to drop another 65 bucks to make a copy of the special emergency key (which not every locksmith sells).

This is a fantastic product. It comes with all necessary parts (incl. screws and screwdriver), and is fairly easy to put together. Be aware, this product is made to fit snug, so if you see complaints of the product not fitting, (1) the customer probably ordered the wrong sub type or (2) they probably haven’t assembled the pieces correctly or fit the fob in correctly. It’s a high quality product, and the only real complaint is how heavy it is. Outside of the weight, it’s protective and looks fantastic. The other complaint I’ve seen among the reviews is price … however, if you cost compare to competitors, this product is mid-range and not overpriced.Always keep in mind people are quick to complain about something without verifying that it’s not their own human error.I highly recommend this product and am more than satisfied with it.

The case itself looks very nice and high quality. But the screws and the holes for the screws are where it falls short. The screws are very tiny and difficult to screw in. They do not even screw down flush. This would have been a 5 star product if the case simply snapped together. Instead of requiring screws to close. I will probably have to damage the case whenever I remove the key fob. The screws were close to stripping so I did not try to screws them flush.

Nice product except front and back are not flush. Had to take vice grips to squeeze it together while trying to get microscopic screws to sit in the hole. I got frustrated and quit 3 times before I finally got it together. Debated the first 2 times to return it. Very frustrating

You will read several reviews stating this cover won’t fit…it does but you have to take your time. There is a slight split in the cover that is crucial for fitment and if you don’t get this just right on the key fob, you will throw this cover across the room and ask for forgiveness in your next confessional. The 4 tiny screws will make you lose your mind but they give you 6 screws so expect to lose 1 or 2. Pro tip: install the scews on a white towel so when they fall you can see them. The materials are heavy and makes your key fob feel glorious…in my own personal opinion. Take your time and you will love this key cover for your M series BMW.

I don’t know what these reviews are talking about lol, it took me about 1 minute to install and everything fit perfect, the screws are small but the magnetic screw driver it came with helps a lot, everything fits flush nothing loose

I’m happy with this purchase makes my key look good and match the carbon interior I have. It’s super easy to instal and is made to fit perfectly around your key. No interference when unlocking or locking car all buttons work. Plus I really like the back of the key with the engine cover as the back plate. I recommend this quick mod to anyone it definitely makes you stick out. It’s durable and does not feel cheap made with quality in mind.
