I picked this up in August 2021 and installed it in my 2019 Toyota Tacoma limited. I didn’t have much of a need for the 12 V lighter plug after moving the 110 V inverter plug to the cab so I decided to order this dual USB plug. Installation was a breeze, I did have to widen the factory opening in the console by about half a millimeter with a rotary tool but the flange easily covers that and the original one will go back in snuggly if I ever choose to.I drove the truck about 22,000 miles last year and the phone is plugged in about 99% of the time that the truck is on. While I don’t unplug and plug the cable very frequently so I can’t speak much to wear and tear in that regard, I can say that this product has performed phenomenally. It looks great and charges everything I’ve asked it to. No complaints at all. 10/10 recommend.

I looked all over for one of these without an led always on. Finally found it. The first one I bought I put in my golf cart and it got used and abused by use and weather. Never gave me a problem. I’ve purchased 6 of these now for different vehicles and an RV. No complaints from me.

I wanted this charger for use on my sailboat because it’s non-illuminated. I don’t want ANY lights even low-draw LED backlights, burning all the time. I got one of these and couldn’t make it work and put in a refund request, then ordered a second one just like it, thinking the first one had just been a lemon. But the second one wouldn’t work either. I decided to use my little table battery to test for polarity (see photo), and it turned out that polarity was the problem. Hook the gold negative blade to positive and the silver blade to negative, and Bob’s your uncle!

I’ve put these in 2012 Tiguan, 2000 Excursion (in the dash, console and rear seat), 1995 Mustang GT and other cars where a usb adapter would be needed. You should just buy one now and an extra for your next project so you don’t have to wait for shipping.
