I have a home by a lake and lots of humidity in the summer. Just bought a new dryer…the old one rusted from the inside out due to the Moisture that would accumulate overnight. The water would come in through the Hose system and in the Mornings (depending on the Humidity) there would be be 1/4 to 1/2 cup water sitting in the bottom of my NEW Dryer. I knew if I did not find a solution that this dryer would go the way of the older one. I tried the Zarpax Dehumidifiers….and…they are WORKING! I toss two of them in the bottom of the dryer and close the door. In the morning the Dryer is DRY – the Moisture is gone. I can put these packs in the Microwave and ‘Recharge them. I keep two of these in my car (one on the dash, one in the rear window) and they help a little, I’m thinking of adding two more. It takes a while to turn pink, and when they did, I microwaved them, only I have a 1,100 Watt microwave, so I cooked them for 6 minutes at 50% power (since 55% wasn’t an option). Either that wasn’t enough (though the paper towel it was on did get moist, so it did something), or else the indicator will be pink forever, because it didn’t change. I will try the one minute intervals like someone suggested, but otherwise, maybe a cheaper, one-time use product would be better

I live in SE Alaska, which is known for getting pretty humid at times. I struggle with condensation inside my vehicle during cold wet rains and snows. And, then the moisture freezes on the inside of the windshield as the temperatures drop.I’ve used this product now for several months, and initially, it worked quite well. One pack would dehumidify my SUV for about two weeks, before needing to be changed out for a fresh one. Heating a (red-spot) saturated pack would restore its effectiveness but after about three re-heatings in the microwave… the packs would just start to fall apart… scattering small clear beads everywhere. And, I was quite conservative in drying them out… using lower microwave settings/times than what was recommended in the included instructions. And, based on other reviews… I guess this isn’t an isolated occurrence.So, initially, they worked quite well… until the outer coverings started to disintegrate. Although not tremendously expensive, I expected to get more than 2-months of use out of them, and that’s with me being cautious in heating them to remove the trapped moisture. I will be contacting the manufacturer to see if they offer some type of replacement, as the Amazon return period passed several weeks ago.

I had a lot of condensation on my windshield and I bought the 2 pack so I can put one in the front and one in the back. I tried it fortwollt weeks and I still continued to have the condensation. I’m still trying to figure out how to get rid of the condensation. I want my money back. This would be a good product if it wasn’t a lot of condensation and not excessive.
