These are FANTASTIC little magnets! The price is unbeatable for a 2 pack. The magnets are strong enough to hold a full size 1911 by the end of the barrel with ease. I truly believe this magnet will securely hold any handgun you stick to it. The product was nicely packaged and included simple instructions, mounting screws, 3M very high bond tape and the super strong magnets. The magnets have a rubber coating and countersunk hole to insure your gun does not get marked up. I could not find a single thing wrong with the strength, design or function of these magnets. I would and will recommend these magnets to friends, family and anyone else looking for great gun magnet at a more than affordable price.

Overall: a great product with a strong magnet (but not too strong). You can’t beat this price for two rubberized magnets with adhesive pads and mounting hardware included!I mounted this centered under my steering column using the adhesive pad and the shorter screw to ensure that I didn’t hit any electronic components. You cannot use the adhesive alone, and the seller indicates this on a packing insert that you receive along with the magnets. Regardless of where you mount it, the size and shape make it very inconspicuous. This magnet is also the perfect strength for my purposes and mounting method. If it were too strong, I would worry about it pulling the screw back through the hole when I went to draw it.Using this method, it firmly holds my big ass Beretta 92FS against the full force of gravity (i.e. completely upside down) even when fully-loaded with 124 grain ammo (16 rounds). It stays secure over bumps in the road as well. The only negative I’ve experienced so far is that, due to it being a circular magnet, the pistol will “spin” unless the slide release or other extrusion is against the edge of the magnet. Nonetheless, as I use it more often I should be able to stick it in the right place so that it doesn’t spin at all.

First magnet I’ve tried, so I put a few different hand guns on it and it works real good, inside the house. I keep them in my vehicles too but in a holster. In order for it to be 100% secure in my HD 4×4 truck (or any car for that matter) I’m sure it would have to be able to be positioned where at least 80% of the round magnet on a flat surface of the firearm, so that no road conditions would cause it to fall- depending how it’s hanging e.g. upside down or sideways. If any doubts about it don’t do it. Many scenarios can vary… I just ordered one with 2 sides (a 90deg. angle) that will contact 2 of the surfaces on the firearm, as this now seems it will be optimum for mobile/vehicle firearm carry; will find out soon;)

You wouldn’t think much of these magnets and probably would not believe they are even able to hold a handgun. I am in law enforcement and always carrying on and off duty and try and find ways to make it as easy as possible. These things are STRONG. I tested this out a couple days before writing a review and I am highly pleased with the results. You would think you have to line your gun up perfect with the magnet in order for it to hold your firearm, but it is so strong so that is not a problem. From the photo my placement looks as if it is close to the pedal and would get in my way, but there is plenty of room. I drove all weekend with it in the exact spot and never touched it once. Also the magnet has a rubber piece on the outside to protect your firearm from scratches. As for installation, it comes with a screw, you take a screwdriver or power one, screw it into the spot you want it. That simple. The magnet has adhesive on the back that allows you to test different locations before you make it “permanent”.These pack comes with two magnets, you can use one for you gun and mount a clip if you want, or you can mount two guns (can never have too many!). I let me one of my buddies try out the second magnet and he is very pleased. Bear Armz Tactical has new fans in Athens Clarke County Police!

I was a bit skeptical about the magnet being able to hold, but once mounted it was able to hold even a shotgun on the back of a door. I also mounted one under my desk and found that when I went to pull my pistol loose it actually had a pretty good hold that I had to give it a little twist to release it. I’m happy with the product and will by others for other parts of the house. I did want to say that 1 of the magnets had a defect and I let the company be aware of it, and got a response from the CEO who took care of it personally and sent me a replacement immediately. I was quite impressed with their professionalism.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little hesitant. Especially after I opened the box and saw how small the magnets were. About the size of a quarter. But once I stuck it on my fridge I knew how strong it was. I used the adhesive before I screwed it in my final location as recommded. I installed it in a safe location in my truck to keep locked whole at work. Very happy with it. I would definitely buy again. TIP when you want to grab your gun kind of pull it down and off. It makes removing it easier and quicker! (Springfield XD Subcompact 9mm) I also like how it only takes one screw. The less holes in my vehicle the better. I also haven’t noticed any scratches on my gun either. PS it cracks me up people saying it doesn’t work. If you’re too slow to see /read the packaging that specifically says the adhesive isn’t a permanent solution only to help you find the right destination for where you for sure want the magnet placed before you SCREW it in you shouldn’t own a gun to begin with lol. Mine still works great! (Screwed in lol)

These are a nice compact size and they hold my .45 with a full magazine and withstands the vigorous shake test. Don’t hesitate to buy these.
