   I have a newer silverado crew cab and could not find a gun rack that fit in my window or looked good hanging from the headrests. I have tried laying them in seat, floor, under seat and none of these places could hold it in place. With this mount I have mounted it under my back seat. Now it is out of site it is secured from bouncing around it is easy to get to have had no issues since installing it I highly recommend this product

   Bought this for my husband. It works perfectly and fits in out trunk great. He has received a lot of comments from people wanting to know where he got this rack so that they can go get one. I had ordered this same rack from a different site and was told that the order was cancelled because the item was on backorder with no expected availability. These came right away. I highly recommend this rack!

   The gun rack itself is freaking awesome, but the fasteners it comes with are terrible. Ended up just going to home depot and getting some self tapping sheet metal screws. Other than that, I love it. Definitely worth it.

   This rack is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I mounted this rack in the trunk of my 2012 Ford Taurus as part of my emergency preparedness kit. The body of the mount is made of thick sheet metal and should be perfectly adequate for its use. The notches that cradle the rifle are covered in a dense foam padding that will protect the rifle and help keep it in place.The only reason I gave it 4 of 5 stars is that we had to modify the bracket slightly to mount it. The provided mounting holes wouldn’t line up with my particular trunk layout so we just drilled a few new holes and used some self tapping screws to bolt it into place.The other thing is that it doesn’t seem to work well with AR’s. I believe this mount is meant for shotguns or deer hunting rifles, however it should work depending on your particular setup. Mine was a tight fit and the Velcro retention strap was just barely long enough to get a good grip around the receiver.However I do like the simple design and I’m satisfied with my new addition to the vehicle. It tucks away nearly out of sight and takes up almost no space.

   I bought this to mount to the ceiling of the camper on my truck in order to securely haul my bow during hunting season. I had to drill out the rivets of the center clamp and remove it before reinstalling the Velcro strap, but it was an easy modification and now my bow fits perfectly.

   Well built, fits in a 90 dodge regular cab well. Dropped one star just for the mounting hardware. The screws they sent to use were way to short as they barely came through the bracket. Made in the USA too!

   there is no “universal” gun rack that will fit every firearm without some degree of modification, so no lower rating for that. I purchased this rack for my AR-10 (7.62 x 51) and installed it under the roll bar of my Wrangler JK. Some modification was required such as having to drill a few holes for locks. Worked Great!! Second purchase is for under the rear seat of my F150, again some modifications but this rack is constructed very ruggedly and holds my AR tightly, upside down, in both vehicles.
