I like it. The description is accurate. So far my light works and it is bright. I really don’t care if the light goes out because it’s for my car and while I am driving I don’t want a bright light shinning. I like it open while I drive and smoke.

Fits my 19 RDX cupholder nicely. The blue light is bright & always on if the lid is up. The ridges to snuff out ur butt are conveniently placed so you can do so while driving.Aesthetically it’s quite pleasing. Nice clean design, simple yet attractive. Not ur typical ugly car ashtray. Base unscrews for easy emptying but you could just tip it over a trash & not be bothered.

Since new cars don’t have ashtrays and I refuse to throw my butts out the window, I needed something I could use in my car and this seemed on paper to fill the bill. Here’s what they don’t tell you: this thing is NOT watertight. I was having trouble putting my cigs out on the side of the ashtray, so I poured a little water in it. The next day I had a cupholder full of stinky brown water that had leaked out the bottom. Now I know that not everyone will want to put water in it, and maybe I’m being nitpicky, but if they’re not gonna give you a surface to put your smoke out on, they should’ve expected this. Ended up throwing it away and going back to the half-full Vitamin Water bottle method.

It seems fine so far. If you put your cigarette in there still lit, it takes for ever to go out. When I am driving it is not easy to put it out all the way. It took over thirty minutes for it to go out. On the good side it was not hot to the touch or even warm.

I really like this as a butt can for the car and travel. The only drawback is that you need to treat it gently. It is easy to knock it and then the seal will not seal again. Since I use it for the car, this feature is very important to me. With the seal broken, I have to replace.

It’s okay. Can’t give it 4 or 5 stars because the grooves in the part used to distinguish the cigarette have melted so no more grooves. That might not be a problem for other folks. For me, it takes a lot longer to distinguish the cigarette and most times a partially lit cigarette goes in and causes a lot of smoke, even when lid is totally closed. I had to take out of my car one time and bring in the house and put in the sink and get water in it at a high level to get it to stop smoke. Kitchen smelled terrible. I can’t say that’s all because of the seller thought. Might have been an isolated problem. Just keep this in mind when purchasing.

Ordered this for my car in hopes to keep the smell of an ashtray at bay and this does a fantastic job! The light is a nice touch as well. The lid is hard to open all the way when it’s in the door cupholder but other than that I’m very pleased. No odor at all and easy to clean. Would recommend!
