Cool little device. Only downside is it’s not perfectly accurate, And takes forever to locate a GPS signal, and the time is off because it doesn’t go off the seasonal time change in the US, so my time is an hour off with no way to change it.

I got this primarily as a tilt gauge for my motorhome. Those cheap mechanical ones with a picture of a jeep on them just wouldn’t work for me.Unfortunately, this unit only measures in 5° increments, so it’s pretty useless for levelling my RV.Otherwise it works great. I had some issues with it resetting itself, but I think it doesn’t like it’s power supply to be below a certain level. When I tested it on 12 volts, it got unreliable below 11.5v. When I tested in with the USB connector, it didn’t like being at less than 4 volts. I have it wired to a constant 12.6v power supply so it’s happy. It’s a little challenging to figure out how to set the timezone offset. One hint — when you get to the time zone setting, one button makes the number go down and the other makes the number go up. I had to go up to get the right time. I’ve found that once you get the offset right, it does automatically change when you cross into other time zones. The altimeter is usually very close to the actual altitude of my location. The digital speedometer is really handy to have, and it looks like it’s just about as accurate as the original.I probably voided the warranty of that thing, but I really like a factory look, so I removed it from its housing and created a mounting panel so I could install it in my dash. I added control buttons to my panel, and I added RJ45 jacks to the GPS sensor and the main board so I could mount the GPS on my dash for better signal. For my use, if the inclinometer worked at 1° increments, it would be perfect. At this point it just looks too nice to remove it, so I’ll live with the useless tilt gauge. 🙁

Easy to install but have to zero it out often, which is not always as simple as it seems. Manual is not very helpful, but it is easy to figure out yourself. The added features are excellent and very accurate, which makes it an added bonus. The three star accuracy comes from the inclinometer, which is sometimes a little slow to react and, because of its tendency to need to be zeroed out, will sometimes be off by a notch. Overall, though, it is a good value, the digital readout makes it easier to read than a manual meter, and the extra features give the overall rating a four star.

Two center gauges are not very useful, compass is crude; it only displays 8 positions, digital speed display doesn’t seem accurate as it differs from the car speedo by different amounts.

as others have mentioned.. the tilt is in 5 degree increments, which is.. useless as far as I can tell.the compass is in 45 degree increments, which is less than useful.the clock works okay and the battery level works okay.the screen looks great.just displays (mostly) useless information. very sad about that.I imagine this could be fixed with software, allowing the user to show in 1 degree increments.until then, don’t know who they’re targeting with this functionality.

I love this device I added to my RV. The dispay is so bright and easy to read. The clock is off by one hour due to daylight savings time (I didi read about this prior to purchasing and it is not an issue). The time did not adjust automatically when we went into mountain time. When we went into Canada I was able to change the speedometer to KM – love it.My current issue is the pitch display. It seems to have ceased working. It now reads -40 degrees and gives me a warning beep, beep, beep. It is very annoying. I need to find out how to fix or reset. Any help from the vendor is appreciated.
