Although called a car mount compass, I was unable to get an accurate reading. Be mindful of the likelihood that the car body and electrical systems will interfere with any compass reading. This unit was accurate outside the car but worthless inside.

I love this compass. I installed it on the window with the two sided tape included, it fell down shortly afterward. Use your own two way tape, and put it on the dashboard, perfect! It is remarkably accurate, I really love it.

If I could give it lower than one star I would! No suction cup or anyway to hold it to the dash of my truck. Not accurate just gives you a ball park guess. Save your money and stay away from this.

It took so long to arrive I had actually forgotten I had ordered it. When it finally arrived it was in 3 pieces. Easy enough to put back together, but it never worked. We adjusted and mounted it every way possible and it NEVER gave us a proper (or even close) direction heading. Don’t waste your money!

If I set up this compass anywhere except in my car it works fine. But as soon I place it in my car the directions are all wrong. This compass may work in a boat but DO NOT BUT IT TO WORK IN A CAR!
