Works well enough for the money. Temperature is a little warmer than digital read-out. Great design for road trips.I’ve put this no-name, console style, 12v fridge/freezer through multiple tests.I let it sit for 6 hours before I turned it on, as the sticker recommended. The compressor is relatively quiet. It cools to desired temperature in 15-30 minutes, depending on how cold you want it.I used a freezer thermometer and found the digital read-out to be about 5-10 Fahrenheit degrees cooler than the actual temperature. It will cool to at least 10 degrees, even though it reads -4.The biggest issue I’ve found is that it cools about 10 degrees below desired temperature at startup, but then regulates from 10 degrees warmer to 5 degrees cooler than desired temperature. Purchasers may want to be careful with vegetables and set temperatures well above freezing. In my pickup, I set the battery protection at medium/10.4v cutoff. It only lasted about 1 1/2 – 2 hours. I’m not sure if that’s from the pull of the fridge/freezer, or if I need a new battery. Mine is a few years old. But the fridge/freezer did not drain my battery. In my house, I’ve let it run for about 24 hours with no issues. The design is perfect for a center-console, road-trip cooler. The child-proof control lock is a nice feature.I bought this for the design and the price. Compared to other name-brand fridge/freezers, it’s a good value.I was skeptical, and reluctant to buy this, but it’s been working pretty well so far.Update: Two months and several uses later, and still working great!Another great use I’ve found is for leftovers when we go out for dinner and do something after.I bought the best car battery I could find to replace my older one. I guess the outlet in my pickup cuts off after a couple hours, so I have no idea how long this fridge/freezer would take to drain my battery. I’ll have to do a direct line to the battery to find out.

I enjoy camping and plus if the electric goes off for a bit I like to be prepared. I got a few things that seem to all be working great so far. I have a Bluetti EB 150 1500wh solar generator and a Jackery 290 290wh solar generator for the power banks. I got 2 Itehil 100 watt portable solar panels for charging the banks. And I got the Iceco VL45 frig/freezer along with Antartic Star 17qt frig/freezer. I’ve had it all hooked up and everything works great. The solar panels put out around 165 watts which is pretty good. The frig/freezers both run at around 50 watts each running on the DC

I thought it would be the best thing since sliced bread in this texas heat so my husband could go to his car with a cold drink waiting. Nope. Left it plugged in and killed his battery. So unless you can leave your car running 24/7 it’s worthless ???? we’ll it dies work good plugged in a wall when you’re camping. Anyway better luck next time I guess

I like how it comes with both 12 volt and 110v adapters for use in both the car and inside the home. Also it’s nice that the temperature adjustments allow for both freezer and refrigerator.Inside the car it works well.However….I noticed that when outside temperature is moderately low (like if you use this when camping), then the inside contents could freeze even if temperature is not set too low.

I purchased this for outings and emergencies. Upon arrival I plugged it in and dropped the temperature. Within 25 mins there was frost on the inside. That let me know it will definitely serve its purpose. One of my favorite purchases. It’s better to always be prepared than caught lacking. Love this
