These hooks are surprisingly quite durable.I ended up breaking a couple of these as I hooked my heavy backpack to them, and yanked off the backpack without second thought.Overall, these hooks are quite nice, and I appreciate that these hooks are not open, and have a secure latch. I use these everyday and are a staple piece if you’re looking for cheap car accessories that can make your life easier.However, if you’re looking to hook things that are heavier than the average item (5+ lbs), then I would suggest looking into a higher quality item. But, given that I can usually hook heavier items, it’s still a great value.

Gave this to my wife to keep her purse from sliding around. She loves it. This hook easily swings back when someone needs to use the seat and swings forward when you want to hang your purse. (Could also hang your purse on back of seat, while someone is in the seat). This is a multi-pack, so I installed one in my car and will give another to our daughter.

I purchased these hooks to go on the headrests for my Jeep Grand Cherokee.
