I did not know this was possible, but the compass is not correct about 40% of the time. I’ll be heading due South and it says East or will occasionally be exactly opposite. It’s accurate most of the time, but a compass isn’t something that should really ever be off unless you have a strong magnet close to it, otherwise it’s pretty darn useless. Like a watch that’s occasionally completely wrong… except there’s no real “compass mender” you can take it to for repairs..I have it on the dashboard of my Toyota Corolla which for some reason was made without a compass whatsoever. Aside from the fact that I’m driving around in the city I’ve lived in for the majority of my life, I occasionally use gps when going to a new location, so yes, I am certain of which direction it should be showing and the fact that this product does not work correctly.
