I like this cup holder but the top one that swings out is difficult to expand, especially with one hand. When it’s swung open it is a little flimsy for heavier cups and the bottom cup holder is too small for some drinks. With all that being said I do use it a lot, after learning which drinks can go where.

I got this to add some additional space for cups in our vehicle. The device secures nicely in the existing cup holder. There are no adhesives, the spacers extend as you turn the device which locks it into place. The lower cup holder will hold a 12 oz can or a normal sized water bottle, but would not fit our 40oz metal tumbler. The upper holder can be moved around and resized quite large, but for heavier items it will bounce and wobble when driving. We had the same 40oz tumbler in it and had to move it for fear it would bounce out or break. All in all, this is a handy device with some limitations. I’m still happy with the purchase.

They are hard to get sturdy hold. It is because of the empty space in most cars, between the cup holders.

The holder sits up high. The supports are at the very bottom. Even making the holder as tight as possible, my tall canister that holds 40oz tips over easily. It’s a little disappointing, but not terribly so.

This will not work in a 2021 Volkswagon Atlas SEL. Works in a 2018 Chevy Silverado.

2020 Subaru outback has 2 cupholders but no place to put snacks or french fries in the front. I bought this for a trip and it works great. beverage in cupholder spot and we can put snacks, fries or other food in a container in the swing out holder. It does fit securely but it does tilt to the side a little in our car. I did buy 2 but 2 will not fit in our outback so we just use 1. I can still fit a 30? ounce insulated cup in the other cupholder with this in the passenger cupholder
