   This definitely solves the problem of having a temporary surface to place a quick meal on or a laptop or whatever when you’re sitting in your car and not driving. This product has a clever design that manages to fit a typical steering wheel without any hardware and simply uses gravity and its own weight to stabilize itself. Not every steering wheel is the same in terms of diameter and thickness so it pretty hard to design something like this, which “adapts” to the existing steering wheel, and have it lay perfectly horizontal. Having said that, the instructions say to position your wheel in “negative” position – whatever the hell that means. The images show the steering wheel rotated 180 degrees, so I guess that’s what they mean by a “negative” position. They say that rotating the wheel to its negative position ensures that it fits and lays perfectly horizontal Well I tried it with the wheel in its 180 degree position and its normal position and it has a slight incline towards the wheel of about 4 degrees – but I could not get it perfectly horizontal as it shows in the images even though it’s supposed to fit my car’s steering wheel according to the Amazon car database.My only two cons are that a) it did not lay perfectly horizontal as I described, and b) it would be nice if it were a bit deeper front to back.However, I still would recommend this item because, in my case, the slight incline was minor and with weight on the tray it does tend to settle more horizontally and flat-out. It’s also lightweight and sturdy and for the price it is worth it.This tray does solve the problem of having a temporary flat surface so yes, I would recommend it to a friend.

   The only issue is that my car has more of a sport steering wheel so it connects higher than I would like, but still does the job when you want to eat on the go or do a little work on the phone.Nice little addition to my car for convenience and if I get sick of it I am sure someone would want it for their car. Let the fast food drive throughs begin!

   Contrary to what “Confirmed Amazon Fit” this steering wheel tray does fit the 2023 Acura Integra. The manufacturer recommends turning the steering wheel upside down but it isn’t necessary. The tray works perfectly fine installed with the steering wheel in the normal position. Additionally, there might be concern that it might scratch the plastic chrome A-spec badging on the steering wheel but the tray does not make contact with it at all. All contact points of the tray are on the leather parts of the steering wheel. It’s fairly sturdy. I’ve used my laptop on the tray with only having to recline the seat a bit and it may be a little high for some people. Adjusting the steering wheel every time would be cumbersome. I have an LG Gram so it’s fairly light (2.2lbs). I would be hesitant to put something like a 7lb 17″ laptop on it because I’m not sure if that much weight would leave stress marks on the contact points on the leather steering wheel.As for eating, it’s fine but I’d use the car’s cup holders because having a full drink on the tray is an accident waiting to happen. It fits well in the seat pocket. One caveat to my statement is that the tray fits on the 2023 Acura Integra without the heated steering wheel. If you get an Integra with the heated steering wheel, then the steering wheel must be flipped upside down to use this tray.

   This an easy product to use. It is light weight but sturdy my only complaint is I wish they added a slot for supporting your phone in a standup position.

   I absolutely love being in my car… Road trips, driving around town, weekend exploring, and even mid day getaways. There is nothing better than being able to get in your personal car and take off. But my number one problem I had in my car was my inability to use a flat surface… eating, using a computer, writing, pretty much any activity that requires a flat surface just sucked. This steering wheel desk was the answer to it all. Lunch breaks at work became easier and cleaner. Using my computer quickly to edit documents while parked before seeing clients. This desk also does very well in the car heat and grips really good to the steering wheel. Super easy to use!

   Idk how I ate lunch at work without this. I always take my lunch break in my car. Was a struggle sometimes especially when I had anything I needed to cut up(steak,pork chops etc). This tray is a game changer. Super simple to use. No more accidental spills in my car. It even has a cup holder for my drink. If you take any meal break in your vehicle, I highly recommend. Buying two more for my sisters as Christmas gifts.

   I live a few hours away from my parents. When I go up to visit them I always stop to get food and I have end up eating it on my lap. I can’t go in to a restaurant since I travel with 2 dogs. This tray has made a huge difference. I don’t have to worry about getting that burger grease on my pants anymore lol but the cup part is really not necessary since there’s already a cup holder in the car.
