I really wished that I had read that long review before I bought this. It described this unit perfectly. It only gets the contents to a cool temp. Working at UPS in the heat, I was basically asking for too much out of the unit. The unit did have more than enough for the items. Placed (3) 32oz Powerade bottles and (3) ensure protein drinks with room to spare. The carrying strap was simple to install and adjust. Overall the unit was lighter than I thought. A plus in my book.

For the past month or so I’ve been using this cooler/heater and it’s exceeded my expectations. I’m a trucker so i use it for meals and drinks only reason why it got 4 starts instead of 5 i wish it kept items a tad bit cooler. Still a very solid product

Love this! My semi doesn’t have a fridge so I got this to keep drinks cold and to heat up food because I’m often stuck in places where there isn’t food options. It’s the perfect size to keep in my passenger seat.Within 30 mins it was frosted cold. It keeps my drinks cold enough to b on the verge of a slushy consistency. At the same time doesn’t freeze food I keep in there. I haven’t had a chance to use the warming options but I feel like it will do great when I do because the cold does so well.As for the size, being a solo driver this is perfect for me being out 5 days at a time. For a family it would be great for day trips. However if if u drive team or will be packing for more than 1 day I would get a larger one. For the price u really can’t beat it.

Great little cooler for a road trip. It eliminated the need for cold packs and ice. We were on the road for a month and it worked like a charm. The only down side is turning the cooler off while starting the vehicle in order to protect the fuse.

This unit isn’t very big and isn’t very powerful. It can fit a couple large drink bottles and some snacks, but isn’t good for much more than that.The cooler is also weak; it will keep cold drinks from warming up too much but won’t keep them cold. It also draws power constantly, it does not turn on and off. I believe the warning to unplug it when the car isn’t running isn’t to protect the unit but to keep it from draining the battery flat. I guess I can’t be too upset about the lack of a thermostat as it doesn’t get cold enough to need one. I wired it into a switched circuit so that it turned off and on with the vehicle.It’s better than nothing, it does keep drinks somewhat chilled on road trips and keeps candy from melting. But for the cost I expected a little more oomph out of the chiller.
