The GOOD: Look pretty decent for theoretically “universal” seat covers. The BAD(s): I have no experience with other brands of seat covers, so I can’t tell you if other makers directions or products are worse or better than the Coverados. What I can tell you are some of the headaches that I had installing them because their “written installation directions” do not match their video posting on the Amazon site that most of us are relying on … are really just weak pictures that leave a lot to your imagination.1.- Coverados installation video included on the Amazon website shows one of their “high end” (more expensive) sets of car seats being installed … not the reasonably priced $65 set that I bought. Why is that a problem? Because the site video implies that all the installs are going to be as easy as what they show and it is not true on some newer cars! Why? Primarily because the high-end models have a combination of elastic straps and some click-straps that give you the ability to lock down the covers in place so they won’t slide around a lot! The $65 version essentially has the two big plastic black clips that are in the photo I posted and you’re supposed to loop the seat back straps around that and then slide it through the gap where the back cover meets the seat bottom . The problem with that is when it comes out the backside there’s nothing really holding it in place other than a little bit of friction! I bought these because I have an 84-year old mother-in-law who struggles with spilling pretty much anything and everything every time we drive her to one of her three weekly doctor visits for physical therapy. Though not intentional, she was accidentally ruining our brand new fabric on our new 2022 Hybrid and something needed to be done to save the day. That is in stark contrast to the misleading Coverado installation video on the Amazon website that shows you passing those clips through the seat gap and then you have supposedly really long click-straps on the cover portion for the seat bottom that are supposed to be able to pull and wrap around the sides and then hook onto the clips you passed thru the seat gap … which is not the case with a $65 models as the elastic is way too short to pass around the generously thick seat-side supports of a 2022 Toyota Corolla Hybrid! Unfortunately, their website says that this is perfectly suitable for a 2022 Toyota Corolla. Barely suitable would be more accurate.2- On this new Corolla, there is a nice piece of fabric along the bottom of the seat back that protects some wiring and other things from getting tangled in the feet of rear-seat passengers. Unfortunately, the makers of the Coverado apparently don’t bother to check on new models of various cars because this fabric wraps down, around, and under the seat and you have no idea where it connects up to with its own elastic straps … and there’s virtually no way to see underneath the seat from the rear or the front to even begin to think about unhooking this manufacturers protective fabric. That forces you the customer to find someway to work around Coverados cheapness where they didn’t make the elastic straps for the seat bottom a proper length to match the way it installs in the video of their high-end models that they show on Amazon. As I taught engineering for over three decades, I was fortunate enough to figure out that I could try to attach the elastic straps of the seat bottom onto the same plastic clips (nowhere suggested or shown in their written directions by the way) for the seat back and force them as one unit through that seat back gap. Unfortunately, I still have the problem in the end that the only thing that’s keeping this plastic clip from my photo even remotely in place is the little bit of friction between the seat back and the seat bottom there’s no physical attachment to anything which is 100% opposite of what they show in the video that they provide on the Amazon website!3-Both the written directions and the video imply that the seat bottom front elastic loops closest to the dashboard are merely supposed to have the metal hooks that are shown in the picture I provided and then you can “easily and simply” latch them onto “something “ (that they go out of their way not to specify) underneath your seat. Here’s the potential problem for you, with many newer cars they are designed to have very few metal parts that have edges or unused holes that you can latch the provided metal hooks onto. The best I could initially do with my new 2022 Corolla hybrid was to latch it onto the seat release bar of the driver and passenger seats. Initially it seemed like it would be a satisfactory solution, until my first passenger jumped in and adjusted the seat and the seat cover hook completely popped off. When I told my wife about this she said “oh yeah, I had the same problem when I drove the car the other day and I had to scoot the seat up because you’re so much taller than I am. The hook came flying off the metal seat bar.” Long story short with the front seat hooks, I had to wedge myself onto the floor … jam a flashlight under the seat and poke and prod around with my hands because you can hardly see under there until … I found on the driver side an unused hole that was within stretching range of the elastic, but I still had to do the door side hook just hanging from the driver seat sliding adjustment release bar. I have no faith if that’s going to be a long-term solution that stays put.In the end, as a guy with 30 years of engineering experience, I eventually got it to function in a minimalist way. Perhaps if you’ve got a much older car that’s maybe 10 or 20 years old, you might have all kinds of unobstructed unused holes under your seats that you can hook onto. My suggestion is that you check that BEFORE you buy these seat covers. If you’ve got an abundance of unused holes in the metal framework of your seats then your install may go much smoother than mine which took nearly an hour (for 2) by the time I got to the point where I felt that it wouldn’t be popping loose while I’m driving. Best wishes on your decision!

I never thought about this, you don’t have to cover the whole seat. You don’t seat on the back of your seat

Buen producto, buena calidad, recomendado

These seat covers only fit over the top of your seats which is what I wanted. I have a 2021 Toyota Tundra with side airbags and covering them was not an option. The covers took less than 5 minutes each to install if you read the instructions and fit them properly. The are well made and appear to be very durable. They are comfortable to sit on and I am happy with them.
