I got these for my truck. I’m a guy that does stuff. I go fishing and crabbing a fair bit during the spring through fall so I often jump in the truck a little sweaty and generally funky. I also drive for a food delivery gig on some evenings and weekends so I do some miles. I do my own landscaping and what not. You might be able to tell in my picture that I’m hardly obsessive about keeping my truck spotless either. It’s not unusual for the truck to get a bit of a funk to it. In the past I had used disposable vent clip air fresheners. They work fine but of course they are single use plastic, rather expensive, hard to find scents I like, and don’t last super long. So instead of that I’m now using these nice little essential oil vent clip diffusers. These things ROCK! Now I have a solution that doesn’t involve throwing away single use plastics. They work really well, look better, and I can choose the scents! So these essential oils combined with a diffuser are a really good solution for me and I highly recommend!Personally I added a rubber o-ring between the cap and the glass/vent clip piece to help make sure the glass bottle stays sealed and I don’t accidentally over-tighten it. This is working well for me.The wood pieces start out very pale. Over time I could actually see the oil soaking into the wood. It started at the little ball ended diffuser pieces but also now has soaked all through the wooden cap. If you can see in my picture it takes on almost a slightly translucent shiny almost glow.I find that the amount of scent it puts out varies with the type of essential oil I use. With a “sweet tobacco” oil one of the diffusers lets off just enough scent to let me know it is there when I hop in the truck but it quickly fades to almost unnoticeable in the background a little bit. I’ve been contemplating adding a second one on a different vent for that scent. With a “lemongrass” oil one diffuser is more than enough to add a noticeable scent that has more staying power. Having several diffusers in the one pack though gives me lots of options to double up for some scents and easily swap scents if I get a little “nose blind” on one. Some of the product description pictures show a script or lettering on the wood cap, which I’m glad were not present on my examples. Mine are all plain wood with no letterings or logo. All in all I am REALLY pleased with this product as a truck air freshener solution! I would, and in fact already have, recommended it to others.

I filled one with my chosen scent and added it to my cars vent. It was nice, to get into my car and have it. But you do have to tip it over from time to time to refresh the wooden cap. But I noticed one day when I took it off to do that, the cap was cracked. I didn’t tighten it down all that tight, because it’s wood. Even the threaded part is just threaded wood. I have had these for nearly a month now. I am still using the same one, because even though the lid cracked, it’s still attached to the bottle and hasn’t come apart. I have 3 more to use if that happens. They are easy to assemble, easy to fill with the included pipette, and if you keep the cap loaded with scent (by turning it over to reload it, it tells you how in the instructions better than I can) it’s really a pleasant addition and attractive too. Don’t paint the cap, that’s how the scent is released. The wooden cap absorbs the scent and then through evaporation….. ehem. I like them lots..EDITED ON 10/12/2022 TO ADD: Though at first I thought they were pretty nice, that lId finally gave up when I removed it from the vent to recharge the lid. The lid popped off in my hand thank fully so I didn’t spill the contents all over. I will try a second one now and see what happens. Will update again after.

I thought this was a great idea! I filled it up with a high quality fragrance oil and it doesn’t smell much at all, it seems like it’s more for looks than anything. I put it in my car during the warm weather and thought that at least would make it emit some smell goods but no dice.

I put my pink zebra soaks in it and less then a minute the reeds had the smell. Sits firm on the vent in my van and the smell goes through awesome! Perfect! Love it!
