I purchased four of these various gauges and they’re worth every penny. I really like the customizing color capability. They fit perfectly in the GlowShift Pillar Pod too. Instructions were very simple and easy to follow. Customer support was also extremely helpful as I had to contact them for the following reason….After installing all the gauges and testing them I could not get the gauges to change colors. Also, on two of the four gauges the button for changing colors would not depress. Technical support stated that the buttons would not depress because I turned/adjusted the gauges from the outside bezel ring, which turns the bezel ring just slightly and jams the button. As instructed I pulled the gauges out of the pod just enough so I could grab the gauge from the main body and turn it to align as need and turn the bezel back to release the pressure from the button. The buttons then worked properly but the colors still did not change due to the second reason stated by tech support. The instructions inform the user to use a 3 amp fuse if wiring directly to the battery such as I did. Instead of running 4 lines and 4 fuses I ran one main line (fused) from the battery and into the pod. I then tied each gauge into the main line. This proved to be another problem in proper operation since the 3 amp fuse was not enough for all 4 gauges. I replaced the 3 amp fuse with a 7.5 amp and everything works great. It would have been nice to have this information about the bezel ring and wiring method added to the sheet instructions but the tech support was great.

The only good thing about these is the way the actual gauge looks. That being said…..I bought this item in July 2016. I have been through two sending units already. The first one was fine for about 5 months then it would only read 0 at idle and 100psi when moving. I tried to claim it through their warranty and they tried to make me jump through hoops to get a new sender so I just bought a new one on the Glowshift website. I installed the new sender at the beginning of December with a fresh oil change. It worked great for about two weeks (about 500 miles) then started to do the same thing as the last one. The sending units are complete garbage, and that is not to mention that they are way bigger than any sending unit should ever be. The thing is like 1 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches tall. Barely fit in my oil galley plug. I will probably just give up on the oil pressure gauges, I have had terrible luck with them from multiple companies now.UPDATE:After contacting them again they sent me a new sender free of charge. I then decided to relocate the sender off of the block and further away from the engine using a braided hose and it has been all well since then. It has been about a month and so far so good.

Really wanted this to work. I’ve had other GlowShift gauges in the past and they work pretty well. Got this one along with an oil temp guage for my STI after I rebuilt the motor and when I hooked everything up Oil temp work perfectly but oil pressure didn’t register. Swaped out sensors and it started reading but pressure was off as the sensor I had used a different voltage range. Emailed GlowShift and they told me to get them voltage readings from the sensor. Did that and they said to send them back the guage and sensor. They got it and told me both worked fine and they were sending them back along with a new sensor harness. Installed them and now the pressure reading is way off. At idel its showing 40psi (15-20psi higher than actual pressure) as soon as I tap the gas it goes to 90-95psi (~35 psi over higher than actual) I dont know what it could be. Now I am back to contacting GlowShift again to try and sort this out. I should have listened to the other reviews about issues with the sensors and spent the extra money on the AEM guage. GlowShift customer service has been great though.

The harness that plugs into the back of the gauge does not fit well and does not make proper contact. Gauge turns off randomly.I contacted the company and after some troubleshooting steps, they agreed to send out a new harness.Great customer service.

The resistor in my cluster went bad on my Ranger so the oil switch would flicker and drop out, I used this to replace the switch with a real pressure gauge and couldn’t be happier knowing I have oil pressure versus just hoping I have oil pressure on my high mileage engine.

I thought I would save $20/ea and go for the generic gauges the first time around. Well, like I said the “first” time around. The cheap oil pressure gauge kept malfunctioning, I even had it replaced before completely giving up on it. Right out of the box, the quality difference can be seen. Glowshift came with much better wiring, sensor, mounting hardware, and of course the gauge itself looks stunning! The headache wasn’t worth the $20 per gauge that I ended up not saving anyway. Go for the Glowshift! Even came with gauge shades! Also, the gauges actually match. It’s something that will drive you crazy if you can’t get a matching set because the off-brand doesn’t make a complete line-up.

Was skeptical about going with an electrical gauge but glad I did. Works great out of the box easy to setup. Would buy again.
