I added this to my brand new backpack blower so I could track the hours. I took the time to remove the outer housing from my blower and route the wires properly so there are pretty much completely hidden, except for the little bit that comes out to the meter on the outside. I love that I can track the hours!!! I got almost 3 hours on my new blower in just 2 weeks!!

Bought this hour meter for my new Predator 2000 watt generator. Easy to install, I thought the instructions were adequate. Not much to tell you. Just wrap the included wire around the spark plug wire and mount the meter using the included screws or double stick tape. Done!

I drilled a hole in the case to run the wire through. Never needs a battery so I glued the meter to the case.Took care to keep the wire away from hot exhaust manifold. Wrapped the wire 5 times around the spark plug wire, and it works perfectly. Ran the generator for 6 minutes and it showed 0.1 hours. Should be pretty accurate.

Replaced original hour meter on Bad Boy mower. It did not fit in recess so we siliconed it over original hole. Used the original wire running from spark plug to meter.

Insturctions are a little vague but workable.Tested after installation and unit worked perfectly on my Outboard Motor.

I installed (2) of these one each on my generators back in 2019. 3 years later the display has not dimmed and they are still very accurate. I time the generators running when I test them bi-monthly and they are on the money. I just got a new generator and one was ordered for it. I have a TailGator Generator with (39) hours on it. I added the hour meter at 10 hours of run time so the meter says (29).
