Twice a month I spend the weekend on the road driveing ride share. This as been a life saver and keeping me from spending all my money at fast food places. I tried it out and it was able to freeze a bottle of water. I keep all my cold food for the weekend in there and do not have to worry about ice melting and getting into everything.

Used in 100 degree weather in July in Arizona. Kept everything cold. The refrigerator seems to operate slightly colder than what the display indicates. The car adapter worked well and the unit doesn’t seem to draw a lot of power. I also used the AC adapter. I haven’t connected it to my 100 watt solar panel yet…

Purchased this so we could have some way to keep groceries cool during the Texas heat.Wife keeps it in the SUV and plugs it into the rear 12v outlet when leaving the house before grocery shopping.Cools down to about 40 degrees within 20-30 minutes with an outside air temperature in the upper nineties. Allows enough cooling so there’s no crazy rush to get home after shopping. No problems running the cooler on the car battery while inside the store. So far ,after several months, we like this product and would recommend.

This material will keep your small fridge cooler especially in the sun, thus drain less energy if its plugged. It has extra pockets on each side and find them useful for my long cables that I use to power it. Love it, also makes it look nicer.

The bag is not made properly because it actually insulates the compressor, (hot) side of the unit, which makes no sense…Also, vacuum insulated panels would have worked much better.If you get this bag, plan on adding some flexible foam and a means to seal it along the edge near the compressor to keep the hot air from being blown onto the walls of the cooler by the fab.You really can’t own the unit without one of these unless you have unlimited power.
