When I took the parts out of the old key fob and inserted into the new I was having problems with repeatability of getting the unit to work I realize the battery wasn’t making contact routinely because the compartment for the battery isn’t the same size as the original. To fix the issue I added two pieces of electrical tape behind the battery on the outer side of the housing and that’s all the problem the dimensions for this item or not the same as the original manufacturers dimension by just enough to prevent the electrical contact from happening they work fine now though once I added the tape.

Circuit board fit perfect but the battery location don’t match with the Circuit board I try to modify where the battery goes in the back part but still didn’t work so at the end it didn’t work for my 2010 Chevy traverse LT remote

My original case cracked into three pieces and could not be put together again to hold the battery. This case was a perfect replacement for my 2011 GMC Sierra. IT WORKS just as the original!

Model#421Problem:Battery location on the aftermarket rear panel does not match contacts of OEM circuit board.Solution:Used OEM rear panel with OEM circuit board with new aftermarket front panel with button insert.

Very nice little case to replace the one that was broken. Everything fit well, except you do need to adjust the battery prongs so they touch in the right way.
