You still have to pay a locksmith to program the key

The keys worked well. There is no indicator light on these keys to show they paired. This caused me to waste the ability to make 8 keys. I was only able to make 3 keys.

My buttons wouldn’t work on my original fobs. 2017 Dodge Ram I ordered the new ones. When they arrived opened the old one and new one. I carefully peeled the plastic tape that held the contacts on the new one( the old one failed because the contacts were glued to the housing and came off) I lined up the new contacts on my old circuit board, pressed it on, snapped it all back and woot! It works now. I can add pics if you would like. I still have the second one to do.

Much less expensive than dealership and local locksmith was able to program in under 5 minutes.

I bought these for my 2013 Ram after my original fobs wore out. Once I received them I took the new fobs to my local locksmith to have them programmed to my truck. It took no more than a few minutes to accomplish and the cost to do so was significantly cheaper than buying them from the dealer and having the dealer do the programming. I highly recommend these fobs as replacements for your original fobs.

Just what I needed

Bought 2 , had to go to local ram dealer to have programmed. $80 for 2 plus my aftermarket remote worked after they did it. Nice.

Works great. I did have a Locksmith program them. It was going to cost 400.00 plus for 1 key at dealership. The locksmith cost $100, and I got 2 key fobs programmed and 2 keys cut.
