Easy to install (read the directions). I am impressed with the feel of this remote. I think it looks better than the factory one. Given I got 2 of these for around $14 it was an easy choice to try it.This is only the cover. No electronics. No need to program it. You take the insides out of your old remote and place it into this new shell.

After about 2 months and buttons look as good as the day I got them. Metal sides instead of chrome plastic. Last set I got from a diff seller, the buttons had rubbed off within the same amount of time. Very impressed for the price!

The buttons are much stiffer than the OEM key fobs but they work well. And for the price, you can’t go wrong. I hope they don’t get worn and sticky like the OEM ones did after a couple of years.

We were in search of new key fob cases, and most stores had outrageous prices on them. We purchased this set of two fob shells for a Silverado 2500 pickup. The cases did feel thin when they arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised that they were more durable than we first thought. They are also a little more stiff than the previous key fob. The key fob cases were easy to change as per the included instructions. The quality is different than manufacture key fobs, but they serve their purpose. You do not need to reprogram your keys as this is just a shell.

Great product but doesn’t have chrome side pieces like the picture suggest and also there is no vehicle brand logo which is fine.(the side pieces where black)

Very nice replacement cover. As many have stated buttons are a little tougher to press than OEM, but hardly a deal breaker. The side pieces (chrome) are solid. Have about 1 month. So far so good.
