Wanted to get these to store our key fobs to prevent these repeater attacks to open or steal cars I keep hearing about. I put the keyfob in and yes, I can no longer open the door to my car, but I think this is inconvenient. The purpose of a keyfob is so I don’t have to fumble with keys. If I keep the fob in this thing, I have to fumble to take it out, defeating the convenience of having a fob in the first place. Yes, I’d rather be safe and not lose my 30k+ investment, but I have now lost the convenience of having a keyfob. Can’t blame it on this though, as it is not it’s fault.

I bought this pouch for my iPhone. When I slipped my phone into the pouch, my Apple Watch switched from Bluetooth to Wi-Fi, and the phone disappeared from the “Find My…” app from my other devices. I tried calling the phone but it went straight to voicemail. So it successfully blocked the cell tower signal, GPS, and Bluetooth, but not Wi-Fi. That’s good enough if you just need a way to quickly prevent the phone from continuously tracking your location, and it’s easy enough to switch off Wi-Fi if you’re truly paranoid.

Absolutely necessary for vehicle security! Homeowners have captured pictures of people outside their homes using scanners to try and capture signals from key fobs. In the news are neighbors reporting that their home camera recorded their cars being stolen after the thief was present on their driveway for less than 30 seconds. Amazing that it can happen so quickly! A must have accessory for sure.
