Absolutely love that I can now see my hvac controls at night now. I’ve had my truck for like a year and a half and have never seen the controls at night due to blown bulbs.Be patient during install because you will put a bulb in 180° off and they won’t be fully illuminated.Already having a brittle dash and 3rd gen probs made for a nice tender touch.All in all, probably took maybe a half hour. Most of which was looking for needle nose pliers. And actually thinking about only tools needed were a #2 Phillips head and needle nose pliers.If you made it this far you might as well just buy them. The interior of this 03 is so crispy and more modern feeling.Thanks for listening to my Ted Talk

I can see my heater control panel again. Very good replacement. Look up the procedure for your vehicle to replace. A bit difficult ,but following the manual is essential don’t force any of the plastic panels. They WILL break, take your time.

So let me just say, if you think you can figure out which side is positive with dots and stuff, forget it, at least not on a 2006 Durango. You will need to pull the climate control unit with the 4 screws out of the bezel, from there carefully pull the 3 bulbs out, little tricky because they are recessed but they do come out. Try these new bulbs one way, chances are you will get some right first shot, then try reversing polarity, they work individually on mine so no biggy, just reverse and you should be good, btw instructions say to push out contact for better connection, wasn’t necessary for me

Bought other individual bulbs with a part number mentioned in a Ram owner forum but too small. These were the right size. Good thing there are four as one had the locking tab receptacle malformed and would not fit. Also, FWIW, the lead next to the writing is the positive. If you have a meter, check polarity of the circuit board to match.
