Was excited to have this replacement shell for my remote. Two challenges: the little plastic battery disk and the rubber button pad.The plastic battery disk has a little hole to attach to a post, so it stays in place when installing batteries. The disk keeps the flat surfaces of the two batteries from making contact. It didn’t come attached, and after trying for several minutes, I was unable to attach it. Maybe a special tool is needed, which I didn’t have. The disk is in place, without being on the little anchor post.The rubber button posts on the pad that goes right behind the remote’s buttons seems to be a bit too tall. I was unable to snap the shell together without the car’s panic alarm sounding, and the other buttons wouldn’t depress. I checked it several times – it was in correctly, and those posts were in the little holes behind the buttons. I used the rubber button pad from the old remote – which worked perfectly. Other than that, it looks great, and the buttons all work (with the old pad). Time will tell how durable it is. 🙂

Was easy to assemble and what I needed, however good luck getting the fob open to get to the valet key. It’s almost impossible even with using something to help pry it open.

I’d broken the top off my original remote and was looking into going thru the dealer for a replacement until I learned that I could buy a new cover for a fraction of the price. This one is perfect and has been working perfectly for months. It was a *little* hard to reassemble, but it only took me a few minutes to get it right. Highly recommend!
