I just receive the DRIVE Bin XL. It is a soft nylon fabric with mild padding. It arrived folded flat and really doesn’t want to stand unfolded well. Hopefully with time this might resolve. But, it takes plastc grocery bags and these were tough to pull over the lip of the DRIVE Bin. This was due to the fact the DRIVE Bin kept trying to collapse as I was manipulating it to add the plastic bag liner. Once I had the liner in place it has stationary plastic hooks on each side that are used to slip the bag liner’s handle under. Well, without much tension on one of the hooks it immediately snapped off. So, the first trash item I placed in my DRIVE Bin XL was the piece that broke off. Honestly, I should have saved the money and simply kept a loose plastic shopping bag in the car for trash. Much cheaper and less of a hassle. This product is an interesting concept but the plastic was brittle and easily broke. Given that the mildly padded structure did not provide enough rigidity to keep it open I cannot recommend it. I am giving a 3-star rating but really could have given lower.UPDATE: The product has taken a better form after several days of being “deployed”. It still could use some side cardboard/cardstock to help it stay open. As for the broken clip, I did decide to contact the vendor and they immediately sent out a replacement via expedited shipping. This was nice and done without hesitation. Due to this, I will increase my rating to 4-stars. But, everyone still needs to be careful with the clips. Carefully slide the bag handle under them. Do not try to lift them a little to get the handle under. You may end up cracking it off as I did.

After reading lots of reviews for different car trash cans, I decided on this one for my 2021 Ford Explorer. I bought the XL size. I liked that the entire top could be opened for ease of putting things inside, but that there was still a lid for when I wanted it closed. My plan was to have it behind the center console in the middle of the second row, so that it is easily accessible to passengers behind me, but also accessible to me as the driver, and figured I would be easily able to turn around and toss items inside when necessary. I was so excited when this arrived, however my excitement quickly faded once I opened the package. Firstly, I was excited that this trash can was supposed to come with 20 included liners to use. I did not receive that, but rather received 4 liner bags. When opening up the trash can, I was very confused to see a vertical attached piece right in the middle, as if dividing the inside in half. I assumed this was supposed to be pushed down flat on the bottom to help provide structure and support, however it did not do so easily due to it being attached in the middle of the lining. There were also no videos or instructions that explained this. When putting the liner bag inside, I was disappointed with how flimsy the sides of this trash can were, and how difficult it was to put the bag handles under the clips without the whole thing collapsing on you. The lid was also very disappointing and is more of a light covering over the top, but certainly nothing secure. Once I was ready to put this inside my vehicle, I became even more disappointed. It became obvious that the straps attached to go around the center console were not going to be long enough to use this in the location that I wanted, as I did not want to leave this behind the center console without being secure in some way. I then tried to use the straps and hang it around a headrest, as well as a door handle, and neither are going to be convenient locations. It sticks out so much that if I hang it on the back of a front seat headrest (as shown in many pictures) it is essentially in the face of the seat behind. Overall this will definitely not function like I had hoped, and I am a bit surprised at all the amazing reviews. I’ll keep it folded up in the trunk for use during longer trips, but definitely can’t use this regularly as I had hoped.

Absolutely necessary for the daily driver. I’m always on the road so my trash goes right in it. This is one that comes with trash bags and you can purchase more. I filled it with pop to test the durability and how easy it is to clean it. I give both 5/5 stars. Only thing I don’t like is the lid has this magnet clip to close it but instead of it being on the outside, it clips on the inside which is a bit tedious.

It is handy to have in the truck to keep it tidy. I thought the version with the lid would be useful but the snap for it is on the inside of the bin making it awkward and inconvenient to use. It comes with bags which is nice but if you run out the typical plastic grocery bags are the same size so save em up!

i was worried about the sturdiness of the trash can, but so far, it’s been great. the part i enjoy the most is the fact it stays open so well, which makes it easy to put your trash in. i would buy it again when this one wears out

Great concept, complete with being the size to use standard shopping bags (though it comes with a number of its own). My only complaints are that the close mechanism is inside the bag and that the strap wasn’t as long as I hoped (though my current vehicle has a solid console between the driver and the passenger, making that a moot point for this vehicle).
