Pretty sturdy.. we keep this on our back porch for visitors. If you are a heavy smoker it may fill up on you pretty quickly. It’s a little smaller than I’d expected to be honest. But it does the trick. I will say it’s gotten knocked over a couple times and has held up fine. I like how stylish it looks and it keeps the cigarette butts and ashes from getting blown everywhere. Solid 4 stars.. it it was a little bigger and heavier and a little cheaper it would no doubt deserve 5 stars.

There is no way to put a trash bag in the base. The top, while functional, rusts very easily. It is also so thin that the little tabs bend causing it to come apart.

I see a lot of people talking about how flimsy this thing is, but it’s not a cannon. It’s just an astray made of lightweight aluminum. If you’re planning on shooting cannon balls out of this thing, I would probably recommend that you don’t buy an ashtray. If you’re going to use it for cigarettes, or whatever else you smoke, then it’s perfect.

I was happy when I received it (other than a couple of small dents) But after using it on my porch (which is covered) it got damp and the top rusted. The ash tray “flip top” if very cheap and I ended up only using the trash can part. Guess it would ok if used inside.

Ashtray is beautiful! I was not happy with my first order as I felt product did not last but customer service reached out about replacement. Arrived next day . It was beautifully wrapped and boxed and definitely better then before. It is totally worth it and looks beautiful on my deck. Thank you for the replacement and great customer service.

Nice ashtray. If you have more than 1 smoker plan on emptying it a lot. The hole in the side would be great for trash, but there’s no way to hang even a plastic grocery bag in it, so anything dropped in just sits and sticks to the bottom, etc.
