   9/2/22 REVISED COMMENTI have finally got the hang of how to secure my car and how to release the lock!!!! So, as promised, I can revised my review.I thought that the harder I pushed the lock down the more secure it will be. I think this is the issue a lot of us have had, whether for the same reason or not.Look at it, it’s like a square and the the other ‘loops’ inside. By pushing down so hard, I believe I pushed pass that square and it couldn’t dislodge. Some of you will wonder what the heck I’m going on about but it will make sense to others. It makes sense to me and with that knowledge, I am able to unlock the strap and be on my way in a matter of seconds rather than 20 minutes later.So now I feel more confident my car will be where I left it. I’m not 100% because if the really want it they’re gonna take it. But at least I know I’ve done what I can and I’m more at ease.8/24/22When I got this, I tried it several times and was able to open it with barely any struggle. I locked it on and went to bed. I don’t know what demons got into my car and messed with this thing in the middle of the night! This morning it took almost five minutes to get it off so I could go to work. And then, stupid me thinking I’ve got it now, locked it on my wheel when I got to work. After work, it took me close to 20 freaking minutes to get this thing off.Like many others, I work in an area that’s not the safest. How can I be in my car for 20-30 minutes trying to get an anti thief device, THAT I HAVE THE KEY FOR, off my car? This makes me easy prey as a woman turning 60 this year!! Not just me but women of any age. This is NOT acceptable!!I will not put this back on my car until this weekend. I will sit in my car and repeatedly try to unlock it, in less than one minute. If I’m not able, this thing is going back.Right now I have pain in both my shoulder and my thumb from the motion of trying to unlock this device.I feel confident that a thief would have trouble removing this device. But, I am not a criminal, I paid for the car, why should I have so much trouble getting it off.I do not feel comfortable recommending this to any of my friends at this moment. I hope I can come back and change my review after this weekend.

   I bought this as a theft deterrant for my Kia Sportage as I heard all of the horror stories and then my ex husband got his Optima stolen recently. I like that it is a bright yellow so it can be seen easily. You just loop it through the steering wheel and plug it into your seatbelt – Super easy! Use the key to unlock and release from the seatbelt and you are good to go. Handy and affordable solution in my opinion and very happy with my purchase.

   I did not want to mess with The Club on my steering wheel- but after the internet advertised how easy it is to steal my Kia Soul, I knew I had to do something. I ordered this unique device and it is great. Fit my car, easy to install, use and take off. Also, very visible so that acts as a deterrent by itself. It comes with 3 keys, but one didn’t work. Still that leaves me with two keys (one for each set of car keys).

   This literally saved my car. TOTALLY RECOMMEND… never leave reviews but I had to leave one on this product! I have a Chevy Malibu lt, been putting this on it and a steering wheel and last night they broke my window to try to steal my steering wheel and this saved it! They weren’t able to take it, don’t think twice just buy it!!!

   My car got stolen and I needed a solution for my new car so it wouldn’t get stolen. I park at a park n ride before getting on a train, I am often in a rush to catch the train so I didn’t have time for a complicated contraption. This fit the bill – I just slip it around my steering wheel and click it into my seat belt buckle. It’s sturdy and I think the bright color is a deterrent for thieves to move on to an easier target.

   I use on a Jeep with doors and top off. Only going to slow down real thieves, but it might also make them look at the Jeep parked beside you without this device.

   Nothing is theft proof, this just adds a extra layer of protection as a deterrent is all. If the thief wants it badly enough they will cut the cable. However most thieves hit the easy targets, not something they have to fumble around with which takes more time for them to mess with. If the thief encounters a vehicle with this attached to the steering wheel versus a vehicle right next to it that doesn’t have one of these odds are the thief will go for the vehicle without the cable. I don’t mind spending 35 bucks for this considering it may deter my vehicle from getting stolen.
