I looked at electric coolers for awhile before settling on this particular brand/model. I picked this one because 1. it had relatively good reviews (despite only having a couple hundred at the time and many not very helpful), 2. for $250 I was willing on taking a chance on this off-brand, I’m not ready to drop a grand on Dometic just yet, and 3. the size is perfect for my truck- weather its a road trip, camping, a BBQ at the park.I received my cooler at the beginning of May and it’s been plugged in ever since. I’m not actually planning on having this thing in continuous use, but circumstances and me just wanted to test the this things durability, this thing hasn’t given me any problems. I hope I’m not jinxing myself here.First week of May received and immediately wanted to test out and threw some stuff inside and waited to see how well it cooled. Not disappointed, temp was within a couple degrees of set temp.We were in the middle of a move out of state and living in a small temp rental after selling house, with a small fridge and just a bit too small for a few things, so we kept in the cooler.I bought a portable 500W, 505Wh/140400mAh power station for those trips to the park and where ever power isn’t readily available. I ran this cooler on the battery for 24hrs on the H setting at 25 degrees F, everything was cold.It’s now July 17th and the cooler was awesome for our 2000 mile journey to our new home- 6 days on the road and we had everything we needed- nice and cold! I have a 12v plug that stays on when the car isn’t on, and didn’t even worry about it when we stopped to eat of check out the sights. As long as you have a good battery in your car, you shouldn’t have any issues.I hope this thing lasts, so far it’s endured continuous use since the beginning of may and feel I’ve already got my monies worth already. It time for a break though till the next trip!

For one person car camping it provides enough cold food storage, uses minimal power, and takes up minimal space, and is both quiet and easy to configure for eco mode and H M L battery protection. The lines are clean and the tolerances neat. I like having handles that fold in flush with sides rather than indentations to pick it up by. I’ve only used it for a few weeks so can’t speak to shelf life. My complaint is with the online warranty process. When I entered my Amazon order number and ID info on the Bodega site, I never go an email confirmation. I sent Bodega a message but the reply was so general, it would hardly serve as a document of purchase if I ever need to use the warranty. Bodega, you need to fix this!

I have used this freezer in the house for several continuous days and in my vehicle for long drives. It has functioned flawlessly in keep items frozen or cooled as appropriate. This unit comes with two power cords; one for the house and one for the car.When I got this freezer I plugged it in to a wal outlet and set it for -5F. In less than an hour it was freezing temperature. The same day I madean ice cream cake. For two days I kept the unit plugged in with the ice cream cake in it. No melting. I then moved the freezer to my car, plugged it in and drove for two hours to a family gathering. Again, no melting! Excellent freeze and easy to move around.

I live that it has a removable section for the freezer, making it possible to use the entire refrigerator in one mode. However, it is a TINY–I mean VERY tiny–freezer compartment. You would NOT be able to keep typical sized frozen meat in it.Be warned: the “crisper drawer” is NOT a crisper drawer. There is a clear plastic door at the bottom, but the magnets on it are not even strong enough to keep the door closed. There is no actual ‘drawer’…the “top” of the drawer is the WIRE-FRAME SHELF immediately above it. I’m trying to rig up an extremely thin plastic that I can cut to fit underneath the wire-frame shelf (but still fit in the same shelf slot) so that it can act a little more like a crisper section.That being said, I put a bottle of water in the freezer, set the thing to 0 degrees and it was frozen by the next morning. So, that works fine. Again, I really think there needs to be a 2.0 cu ft version. This size is barely useful. It performs well, but just isn’t much space.

We received this in May 2022. We got it for husband as he’s a truck driver and needs this to keep his food and drinks for the week cold. It worked great and was very much worth the price. Mid October 2022 it stopped cooling. I reached out to Amazon and they put me in contact with Bodega. They helped us to figure out what was going on with it. Once we went thru all the possibilities it was determined the compressor must’ve lost its Freon. This company is AWESOME they shipped us a new one with absolutely no problem. Some I’m sure would’ve not wanted to take a little time to go thru and ck a few things and would just want a new one immediately…. But come on it’s the right thing to do. We’re are extremely pleased how efficient and kind they were and in the end (only a couple days later, but to NO fault of theirs ) A new one was sent, and fast. Anyone unsure of this product worried of the “what ifs” I highly recommend their product, and customer service.
