I ordered two of these to install on my hf predator generators. I’ve had them installed for a week now. On one generator, it is reading a steady 12.5 volts and it increases to 13 when i’m testing the generator. on the other generator, i found the voltage at 9 volts this morning. it had held steady for 13.5 volts until now. This generator uses a lithium iron phosphate battery. i don’t know if these batteries can handle a small constant drain that these displays have. I took off the display and added a momentary switch so that the meter won’t be constantly on. i also managed to recharge the battery. The second picture does show 13.5 volts but you can’t see the three due to sunlight but it does work. the only drawback is that it takes a few seconds to get a reading but i can live with that. Other than that, i do like these displays.

You might have cut the rubber casing holding the two wires together in order to reach your terminals but other than that it’s lightweight, bright, and easy as pie to set up.It even came with a sticky pad in case you want to permanently mount it to something. Very nice.Also mine did include two monitors in the package.

They got thicker, more transparent and cheaper looking….Still does the job. Just not as nice as they USED to be (reason for only 4 stars)

Easy to install, easy to use. I put mine on a toggle switch. Very bright might have to cover it at night
