They are hard to install so how come they aren’t setup to just install so you don’t have to worry about polarity?

Didn’t get a chance to install, I didn’t realize the dash lights are different from the hvac lights. Which is my bad.

These fit the gauge illumination on my instrument panel with no problem. For anyone else with a Dodge Ram that is trying to change all the dash backlights, the HVAC control uses a T4.7 bulb and the Overhead console driver information center uses a T3 bulb. I am not completely sure, but I believe similar year models of the Dakota pickups and the Durango suv’s would be the same way.

I’m a female and installed these no problem. I put most of them in correctly the first time then plugged it back up to test. Could tell which ones were backward so I took it back out and turned those around. If there are any dim areas that are not as bright as the others then those are the ones that need to be switched around. Overall easy install on 2003 Dodge Ram 2500. Would highly recommend.
