Programming instructions worked first try. No issues. I saw some say their old remote didn’t work after programming the new ones. Just a heads up, when you program these on some cars it will remove any other remote that is programmed but you can just program your old one at the same time. I ran through the procedure and was able to program both new remotes and my old remote at the same time and all three are working.

It took less than a minute to program these remotes and they work well. They look just like the originals and seem to be made just as well. The only difference is there isn’t as much range as the originals, but its not really a problem for me.

Unlock button must be double clicked slowly for passenger doors to unlock. If done quickly, only the front driver door will unlock.

Very impressed with the quality and value for $$ spent. I purchased a single fob from a large local retailer 2 years ago and it no longer works. Furthermore they charged me $50.00

2005 Ranger: Programming should tell you to start by pressing unlock button on OPEN driver door then, turn key off and on 8 times in 10 seconds, then push any button on the remote(s) for that vehicle. Vehicle confirms by actuating door locks. Note: you aren’t actually programming the remotes but, telling the vehicle which remotes to listen for.
