I used to use Master brand steering locks but had problems keeping the keys so I purchased the club. The keying is smoother. However, the device can be pulled apart and seperated into two pieces unlike the Masterlock brand.

I bought it for extra security on a car we don’t drive as often, the aftermarket alarm was not as reliable as we wanted ,and anyone looking inside to try to steal the car won’t want to bother when they can’t move the steering wheel its a small price to pay for good security I think . Thieves will just move along.

I own a Hyundai and even though now parking in garage, NE Ohio has had plenty of car thefts right from curb and garage, so decided this extra measure, which is not cumbersome at all for me to use and that was a concern of mine because I deal with poly peripheral neuropathy so I’m more than just a klutz these days and I’m able to do it so if I can anybody can and it feels really secure especially locking it with the lock facing the windshield or the instrument panel and even that with the new key type is very easy to open I feel like it was money well spent and it’s the same color as my car, Tron.
