   I made the mistake of going to my local dealership. A reputable place called Clark Chevrolet in McAllen Texas and they sold an “Original” remote for $180.00. The plastic back broke in a few weeks. I was livid. I had my other remote 8 years and dropped it several times and it held up. This one didn’t last not even a month. So I went ahead and ordered these remotes and they look and feel exactly like the one I bought at the dealership. I’m happy with them. Even if they last a year or two it’s still better than the $180 dollars I paid for an “original” (it wasn’t, it looks just like the ones I received from Amazon). And the dealership offered to program my remote that I bought from them for $150.00 fee..I watched a video on YouTube for programming this remote and it took, seriously, 20 seconds.

   Great controller, easy to sync as the factory lets you sync a new remote, instructions right on the dash DIC Driver Information Center. Thee controller has the buttons slightly raised, definitely easier to press them, even the remote start is not recessed any more. I have been carrying this remote on a chain that hangs from a belt loop and I haven’t had any accidental button presses. I would say this is a great alternative to the actual GM remote from the dealer and certainly less expensive.

   Dealership and locksmith wanted wayyyyyy too much to replace a broken key fob for a 2009 Escalade. These 2 remotes were clutch. Easy to program. Took 30 seconds. If you are programming 2 remotes, just make sure you program them both at the same time, doing 1 after the other. That will keep them both active. I made the mistake of doing 1 at a time which kicked the other one off. Customer service was great and sent me the programming instructions. Once I programmed both the right way – the results have been excellent. Also has push button for remote start which others didn’t offer. Rear window and gate open and close work good too. Get these if you need a replacement. Great price.

   Product was as described. Be sure not to use the suggested website on the envelope to PROGRAM your keyfob. It stated that it was free but had many items to purchase I selected none but had charges on my debit card immediately! Youtube has good instructions.

   I can’t believe I’ve lived my whole life assuming I had to pay $200 for a remote replacement at a dealership. There is a YouTube video that explains everything and it took maybe 30 seconds to program both.

   2007 GMC Yukon LTZ, instructions were easy peazy to link the fobs to this year model & vehicle. Even better, they included the batteries..!????The only (and nitpicking now) change was the symbol for hatch vs hatch door which was same for both, but being a personal vehicle, you would already know which is which, a non issue!The remote start function no problem!Yes, recommend them and great value!
