   I was skeptical but it actually works for my RAM 1500 V8 SLT with key ignition (not button ignition)The instructions aren’t wrong. If you’re even slightly experienced in reading car related instructions then the instructions are fairly “normal” in my opinion. However I think they could add a bit more description to the written instructions. For example, the module has multiple ports and it becomes obvious which ports you need to connect to by matching the connectors to the port with correct number of pins but there was no pic to match it to. The videos definitely helped so please watch them.Helpful tips for general audience:1) I took my time installing. Overall it was actually quick and if I did it a second time it’d take me no more than 10 minutes.2) I brought my laptop to the truck and used hotspot to connect to the application you have to install in order to avoid going back inside.3) after install, managing the slack wires and the module is important because it will hang low. If I didn’t suspend the module with the zip ties so that it stays “closer to steering column” then it’d fall right in front of the floor heating/cooling vent… which is probably not a good idea.Overall happy with the product.

   So this is a cheaper option that other ones I’ve found but was still costly enough to ensure me that it would actually work. It helps that a friend recommended it…. I had some issue getting the software to download but that was likely on my end once I got it figured out it worked the first time following the instructions. I’m not sure if it’s the key fob or the wireless starting unit but sometimes I hit the button 3 times and the truck doesn’t start. Also after I installed this my battery goes dead if I don’t drive the truck for a couple days. But again knowing how things go with vehicles it might just be a weak battery or alternator, I haven’t looked into it vary far as I rarely don’t drive the truck every day so I don’t have an issue.Edit: it was the battery not the startX.

   Save yourself hundreds of dollars and get this kit. Two screws and 30 minutes of your day is all it takes to get this installed. Installed this in my 2016 RAM 1500 in about a half hour, I didn’t even need to use the spudger. The written instructions and video were very detailed and if you follow them you won’t have any issues. I did have to reach out to support once (it was my own fault because I skipped a step) but can confirm, they replied in about 10 minutes. After getting quotes to have someone installed remote start for like $400-$500, I figured I’d take a show with this kit and glad I did.

   First off the kit was about $100 cheaper then other kits that retain your factory key fob. The kit was straight forward and easily installed. However, that was overshadowed by the pain in the a$$ programing. I felt like I was jumping through hoops. It took me two time to get the module programed. Once programed the remote start has functioned flawlessly.

   Watched the online videos and followed the provided step by step instructions. First time installing a unit like this and so I took my time. Honestly had the plug and play harness installed in less than 10 minutes. Completed step 1 in less than 10 minutes. Registered online, downloaded App and completed step 2 in about 15 minutes. Reinstalled module, and finished the final step in less than 5 minutes and unit was operational. So I would say no more than 45 minutes ( with neatly placing unit and securing cabling with zip ties provided) from start to finish and done! No more sitting in a freezing cold truck waiting for the heat to kick in… Priceless!!!

   Finally got this put in today just in time for more snow. I love it so far works exactly as it should so far gave 4 stars because downloading the software was kind of a pain said to use a windows computer but ended up using a Mac instead and was just fine. Very happy with it so far any issues will update the post

   So bought this 2 weeks ago.Time to install 30mins due to program download.THEY UPDATE THEIR SYSTEM!!!!Tech support will not help you because your not a dealer for this. This company does not a actual company that works with them. So on that note when you come to Point where you gotta install/ proceed with the tuning you might have to manually input all the information of your vehicle, from model and year to how you want it to run..

   Love it! Fairly easy to install. Directions not great but I was able to figure out where I was going wrong. Works like a champ. No more getting into a cold truck in the morning! Took me about 30 minutes to install, only because I was having issues with my computer.
